A sheet of cotton and wool to lay thoughts and ideas on. New shapes and objects, a threshold between reality and unreality. The beauty of dreamlike, enigmatic geometries modeled by the clear stroke of reason, creates a combination of different spatial identities. Islands of a map and of a territory of the mind which is thus free to stray in places yet unexplored by creativity. A grid that captures the ideas, that sinks free into the secular tradition hidden within the texture weaved by old, wise hands. History still brings the mark of the New Man who has carried on the dialogue with the past and taken up its interpretative challenge: once more to amuse the heart and delight the mind, without giving up the dream.
